Dr. Misty Stein, EdD
Meet Dr. Misty Stein! She is our head teacher, Teaching Principal of grades 1-8 since 2016. She oversees and facilitates the learning in both classrooms.
Dr. Stein was born in the Northwest and has lived all over, including: Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Texas, New Jersey, and Tennessee.
She received her Bachelors in General Studies with an emphasis on literature and psychology in 2004, her Masters in Elementary Education (MAED) with emphasis in curriculum and instruction in 2006, and her Doctorate (EdD) in Educational Leadership with dissertation- emphasis in early childhood behavior in 2013.
In addition to state certification for grades 1-8, she is certified as an adjunct professor at NE State College, and holds professional conference-leveled certification for grades K-8, with special accreditation in English and Literature, History, and Bible. She is also CPR/First Aid certified. She also teaches group fitness classes at the YMCA.
She is married to her high-school sweetheart and has 2 teenage kids. Her hobbies include: reading, cooking (health nut/'nutritarian' recipes!), camping, horseback riding, puzzles, and bike riding.

Mrs. Kellie Garrett
Mrs. Kellie is passionate about learning and the success of the SAS students. She is a native Virginian, but has also lived in Florida. 2018/2019 will be her third year as an SAS employee, having served last year as the Data Entry specialist, Upper Grader Aide, Newsletter Editor, as well as art teacher. Mrs. Kellie is married and has two children.
School Board Chairman
Mr. Bryant has a vested interest in Salisbury Adventist School. He is excited to play a part in providing children with an Adventist Christian education. Him and his wife, Dawn, enjoy spending time with them, going to the park, swimming, or sitting around the campfire and making s'mores. At other Adventist schools he has served as a member of Home and School, leading the Fruit Fund Raising program, and has served several terms as a school board member.
