Dr. Misty Stein, EdD
Meet Dr. Misty Stein! She is our head teacher, teacher of grades 1-8 for the 2016/2017 school year.
Dr. Stein was born in the Northwest and has lived all over, including: Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Texas, New Jersey, and Tennessee.
She received her Bachelors in General Studies with an emphasis on literature and psychology in 2004, her Masters in Elementary Education (MAED) with emphasis in curriculum and instruction in 2006, and her Doctorate (EdD) in Educational Leadership with dissertation- emphasis in early childhood behavior in 2013.
In addition to state certification for grades K-8, she is certified as an adjunct professor at NE State College, and holds professional conference-leveled certification for grades K-8, with special accreditation in English and Literature, History, and Bible.
She is married to her high-school sweetheart, Jonathan, and has 2 kids. Her hobbies include: reading, camping, horseback riding, puzzles, and bike riding.

Mrs. Tiffany Bryant
Mrs. Bryant has a passion for women's and children's ministries and has been involved with several community outreach ministries for Rowan County. She has served as Women's Ministry leader, been an instructor for 3 Adventurer classes, and helped with Vacation Bible School. Her and her husband, Chris, have two beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Vanessa. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the park, and swimming. She is looking forward to an exciting new school year!
Ryan Hodgins, Mdiv.
He is passionate about sharing the God who loves us all. God has blessed him with a beautiful wife, and three crazy and snuggly little girls. He's a Canadian, a triathlete and a photographer. He has worked with several schools in the past, teaching P.E. and Bible class. His desire is that the students at SAS are physically and spiritually healthy.
School Board Chairman
Mr. Bryant has a vested interest in Salisbury Adventist School, namely Alyssa, Ariela, Vanessa, and John - his grandchildren. He is excited to play a part in providing them with an Adventist Christian education. Him and his wife, Dawn, enjoy spending time with them, going to the park, swimming, or sitting around the campfire and making s'mores. At other Adventist schools he has served as a member of Home and School, leading the Fruit Fund Raising program, and has served several terms as a school board member.
